We aim to make mealtimes calm, social, and enjoyable.
At Robins Nursery the children will have the choice to either bring a healthy packed lunch or order a school meal.
The school meals will be either; Meal 1 (usually meat) or Meal 2 (vegetarian), followed by a pudding e.g. cake, fruit or yogurt.
The meals will be available for you to view here on the website, these meals will also be on display in the nursery entrance.
School meals will be charged at £2.95 per meal. This payment will be made using the parent pay app (if you are yet to receive your log in, please speak to a member of staff).
Snacks and Drinks Provided
We provide a variety of snacks to keep children fuelled throughout the day:
Snack
- Healthy items such as fruit, vegetables, crackers, rice cakes, breadsticks etc.
- This will be charged at £5.00 per week if your child attends full time and £2.50 if your child is part time.
Milk and Water
- Milk is available during the day
- Water is accessible at all times
We are able to cater for dietary needs and allergies—please speak to our Nursery team or school office if your child has any specific requirements.
A Positive Mealtime Experience
Our staff support children to:
- Try new foods
- Develop independence (e.g., opening containers, using cutlery)
- Learn social skills through shared mealtimes
- Recognise when they are hungry or full
